History Can Take a Flying Leap
I am continually astounded by statements like this one by Laura Bush that history is the proper judge of Bush’s Presidency. She even went so far as to say that people who think so her husband’s Presidency is a failure don’t deserve to be engaged.
Yes, history will judge this President and harshly. But that doesn’t mean we aren’t allowed to add our two cents. After all, we are the poor bastards who lived through it. This is all too typical of the dismissive attitude that nearly everyone in the administration has had for the people they purport to govern.

If she acknowledged reality, she might have to start taking drugs to forget that he is her husband.
I wish I had her ability to pretend the last 8 years weren’t a full on disaster. I would be a clueless yet happier person.
First, I’m glad you’re not Star Jones. That woman has some issues, I do believe.
Second, you might also be in line to become head of the Republican National Committee. There’s always an upside, I like to say.
